What the TECH are you Talking about?

Tech Tip Tuesday The Business Dr. 3

EVERY day some NEW technology appears and it’s driving small businesses insane. Although most of them help the operation of businesses to run efficient and effectively, staying abreast of them is turning some small business owners crazy! In the next 5 years technology will more than likely be required in order to sustain in any market. But finding or creating the right technology is the key to a successful lasting EMPIRE!

If you follow me on social media you know that last month I was a semifinalist of the National MBA Association Whiteboard innovation pitch competition. The three remaining finalist were all tech companies. One in particular had a business but decided to add a technology to it. This is when her business became GOLDEN. Although my idea was a great idea if I focused on the technology component in my business without a doubt I would have probably won the competition.

When starting or growing your business I strongly suggest a few things when thinking of technology:

  1. What technology can you use in your business to make the operations as simple as possible;
  2. What technology can you create in your business model to either help your consumers or those that run similar businesses like you?

The truth is you can have all the products and services in the world but if you create a technology in your business you will NEVER have to worry about a steak meal again. My tip for you today is create or modify your business model to implement a technology that is innovative.

I can’t wait to show you all what I have been working on!!!

Thank me Later!
